About Bayview Garden

Basic Information

The Bayview Garden is a private residential development compound located at 633 Castle Peak Road, Tsuen Wan, New Territories. The 5-block housing estate was developed by Hang Lung Properties and was completed between 1991 and 1992. It is built by the shore and far away from the city centre. With annexation to swimming pool, shopping centre, bowling club, and transportation terminal, Bayview Garden supplements the living of residents with recreational options as well as improved access and transportation to other parts of Hong Kong. It is within the 62 primary school net and Tsuen Wan kindergarten and secondary school net.

The outlook of Bayview Garden

Bayview Garden comprises of 5 blocks with a total of 1200 units. The first phase includes Block 1 – 3 while Block 4 – 5 came out as the second phase. The unit saleable floor area spans from 625 sq.ft. to 776 sq.ft. The blocks of identical design are arranged in a straight line along the shore in the same orientation, as a result, all the flats facing South-East (SE) (i.e. Flats C,D,E,F in Figure 2) behold the beauteous sea view of Rambler Channel and some rooms with Southwestern (SW) orientation like flat A, B may enjoy certain sea view.

On the other hand, all the flats facing North-west (NW) (i.e. Flat B, A, H, G)  survey the mountainous view of Ha Fa Shan. To ameliorate noise pollution sourced from Hoi On Road, the government has erected a covered noise barrier as a superstructure on the road. Hence noise problem of Flats C,D,E,F was alleviated after 2006. In consideration of the aforementioned differences in orientation, sizes, views, distance to amenities and transportation facilities, flats in Bay View garden are sold at different average unit prices. 

The blocks of phase 2 are located next to Tsuen Wan (Bayview Garden) Bus Terminus and within 3-minute walking distance to the Tsuen Wan West Sports Centre, which entails a more convenient location among the 5 blocks.

Adjoining Facilities 

The first floors of all blocks are adjoined to form the Bayview Shopping Centre of approximately 60,000 sq. ft., which provides restaurants, shops and even a bowling centre called Magic Bowling World. The shopping centre was traded to a famous retail properties investor at HKD 330 Million in 2017. The residents can also visit Belvedere Square (the shopping centre under Belvedere Garden) close to Bayview garden, which is equipped with supermarket, restaurants, gym, etc. As for recreational facilities, Tsuen Wan West Sports  Centre is in close proximity to Bayview Garden for residents to exercise and relax. Also, the housing estate also provides a badminton and tennis court for the use of residents.

Bayview Garden has its own transportation network. Even though it is not adjacent to any MTR lines or light railways, it situates in the Tsuen Wan West region that nexus over 30 minibus, bus, shuttle and express lines reaching all parts of Hong Kong. Bayview garden is also just 25-minute driving distance away from the Hong Kong International Airport. 

Examining from its scenery and natural resources, Bayview garden is close to a number of famous coastal jogging trails. While residents can walk to Sheung Fa Shan and Ha Fa Shan, the estate is also not far away from Tai Tam Country park and Tai Tam Reservoir. From the properties, half of the flats face the Rambler Channel and own the view of Tsing Ma Bridge.
