About Belvedere Garden

Belvedere Garden is a large-scale housing estate in Tsuen Wan developed by Cheung Kong Holdings. The site faces the Rambler Channel at the front and Tuen Mun Road at the back. In the development, it consists of 3 phases, providing 19 towers and 6,016 units in total. Locating in the west side of Tsuen Wan, Belvedere Garden provides some basic living amenities to enhance a convenient living environment for the residents. Bus and minibus are the main means for travelling between Belvedere Garden and other urban centers such as Tsuen Wan, Mong Kok and Kwun Tong. The terminus is commonly found along the Castile Peak Road – Tsuen Wan. The interval between buses is around 3 to 5 minutes, which is quite acceptable.

Although Belvedere Garden is not as convenient as other regions, it still has schools and basic facilities for the residents. According to Centamap and our observation, there are two primary schools in the Belvedere Garden area, named Tsuen Wan Government Primary School and Hong Kong Baptist Convention Primary School. However, in the site visit, it was found that the primary schools generated noise disturbance to the residents living nearby, especially during the school time. Also, the school buses parked along the Castle Peak Road – Tsuen Wan, which blocked part of the main road passing through Belvedere Garden, causing traffic congestion.

Moreover, wet market and supermarket are provided in Belvedere Garden. The Belvedre Square Market in Phase III finished its renovation in 2015. After renovation, the market is not only neat and tidy, but is also equipped with air-conditioners. ParknShop superstore is also located in the wet market. It provides a convenient and comfortable shopping place for residents.

Besides, there is not a private clubhouse in Belvedere Garden and also the municipal sports center called Tsuen Wan West Sport Center.

The facilities provided in the surrounding area of Belvedere Garden can generally fulfill the daily needs of residents. However, the inadequacy of transportation means and noise disturbance caused by the primary schools nearby are still the major concerns for potential buyers.
