Allway Gardens is one of the most famous large-scale housing estates developed by Hopewell Holdings in the late 1970s and early 1980s.  The development was completed in four phases, providing approximately 3400 flats in 16 blocks and accommodating more than 10,000 residents.

Located on the hilltop in western Tsuen Wan, it is surrounded by mountains and has access to a birdview of the whole district of new town Tsuen Wan and the surrounding sea. Since it is situated at the upper level of the locality, the environment is quiet and pretty where residents can enjoy great privacy and view.
